Colorbar spotlight illuminating lotion – Product Review

Hope weekend is treating you all well.

This post is about review of “Colorbar spotlight illuminating lotion”. This is used either mixed with foundation or before foundation to prepare your skin. I mix it with my foundation.I do apply moisturizer before this product as my skin tend to dry during winters. This gives your foundation, a nice texture and it doesn’t loon cakey. I had applied foundation at times of my ‘not so prepared’ skin and ended up having a not so perfect looking foundation. I am sure each one of us has been there, doing not so perfect makeup, but I wouldn’t mock at you for that, would suggest you to not do that too, not a great thing to do being a woman, as I always say, raise other women 🙂

Anyway, coming back to the review of this particular product. It does give you a fresh and supple look but dont expect to get a very glossy, shiny look.

Price – It comes for INR 950/- for 30 ml of product.

This is free from parabene, sulphates, silicones, mineral oils, and artificial fragrance. This is also cruelty free.

You can buy it from Nykaa

There’s no cons that I can write about this product. It leaves skin soft and supple and gives dewy look and I am definitely buying this when my current bottle gets over.

This is no promotional post and I am not a sponsor for the product but it’s a must buy 😁

Buying Cosmetics from Amazon or eBay India – BIG NO!

Hi Readers,

I have recently bought L’oreal Professionnel Lipidium Masque and Shampoo from Amazon (India). I normally don’t buy cosmetics/personal care stuff from Amazon/Flipkart/eBay but since there was some good discount, I bought it.
After, using the masque for the first time itself, I realized there’s something different because I have been using the same series for years now and very well know the texture and smell of the same.
The texture of this particular product was different and so was the smell. I realized the product from Amazon as not authentic as next thing I did was ordering the same products from Nykaa and comparing the two.

Same experience I had when I had bought Maybelline New York Colossal Kajal from eBay India.

The products you would receive from these sites are very much similar in packaging to the original ones but with 100% guarantee I can vouch they don’t send you original products. Please don’t fall prey to these.

Hope this information helps you buying original and authentic products !

Please let me know in comments if you had similar experience
